Not Coming When Called Dog

Welcome to the Not Coming When Called Dog Training Course! In this course, you will learn how to train your dog to come when you call them. We will look at a variety of topics such as puppy socialization, using positive reinforcement and rewards, teaching cues and commands, practicing recall exercises, and troubleshooting common issues. Through this course, you will gain the skills necessary to help your pup develop reliable recall while reinforcing good behaviours to keep them safe and secure. So, let us get started!

Objective: 

By the end of this course, participants should understand why not coming when called is a problem, how to identify and correct causes of the behaviour as well as strategies for teaching dogs to always come when called.

 Objectives of Not Coming When Called Dog Training Course: 

1. Teach owners the importance of proper and consistent training in developing a reliable recall behaviour. 
2. Increase understanding of why dogs do not come when called, using scientific principles related to learning and behaviour. 
3. Show owners how to structure their environment and training sessions to prevent dogs from unlearning their recall cues, and instead strengthen them with time. 
4. Develop an appropriate recall cue that can be reliably used across different environments and distractions. 
5. Establish a simple reward system based only on positive reinforcement methods that will improve reliability in the dog’s coming when called response over time. 
6. Understand distractions and demonstrate techniques for gradually introducing more difficult levels of distraction while maintaining the dog’s focus on the owner’s commands and reinforcements.
